The ceiling height posed a safety concern for taller individuals, and my friend's mattress left much to be desired in terms of comfort. the car park was very small, often crowded with visitors, making it tricky to find a spot for overnight guests. Lack of clear Wi-Fi instructions and information on food availability left us a bit lost during our stay, further affecting the experience.

I was truly outraged by the constant noise in our room! The ambient noise from the nearby roads was unbearable, and it felt like we were trying to sleep in the middle of a bustling street. Adding insult to injury, the boiler broke down without any warning, leaving us without hot water when we needed it most. I can’t believe we even asked for a wake-up call that never happened. it's unacceptable!

My stay was highlighted by the lovely staff and the great size of the clean room, making it a perfect base for exploring poolsbrook country park just over a kilometer away and the fascinating barrow hill roundhouse railway centre less than two kilometers from the inn. however, small improvements like towel rails would enhance the experience even further.
